Desde muy niño la devoción ha sido familiar, su padre y su bisabuelo también pintaban. los conocimientos básicos sobre colores y tecnica, la aprendió de su padre, y él mismo fué experimentando, hasta el día de hoy, en el que sigue observando a los grandes pintores he intenta aprender todo lo que puede sobre sus técnicas.


En el colegio con 6 años ya empezaba a hacer dibujos a lápiz, técnica que fue depurando a lo largo de los años hasta realizar retratos al carboncillo a los 14. Posteriormente descubrió el mundo del pastel, técnica con la que jugó bastante tiempo, realizando sobre todo retratos y cuadros por encargo de amigos, compañeros y conocidos.


Durante su adolescencia se inició en el oleo, la acuarela y el dibujo con plumilla, pero no fue hasta los 20 años cuando se adentró en el mundo del oleo y los lienzos, desde ese momento empezó a trabajar con oleo casi exclusivamente, realizando algun carboncillo o plumillas de vez en cuando. Ha tenido periodos de todo tipo, ha probado el subrealismo, y el impresionismo, pero ninguna le ha llenado tanto como el realismo, al que se debe enteramente. Tras unos años sin coger un pincel, en este pasado 2010 lo ha retomado de nuevo.
